Beginner Class 2 Reviewing: Parts of the Guitar, How to Hold the Guitar, Musical Rudiments, Learning to Read and Play First Chords, & First Notes. Moving on: New Notes, New Chords, First Songs: Playing Melody & Lead, Playing Chords and Rhythm. Introduction to Simultaneous Singing and Playing.

About the event
This is a semester long beginner class to get you rocking on guitar. We're starting from ground zero and blasting off. By the end of the semester, you should be able to play the guitar as a beginner, and feel confident spending your time and energy moving towards your guitar goals. We cover the rudiments, the open chords, basic strums, basic reading: TAB, standard notation, as well as basic chord charts and lead sheets.
We'll bounce between Acoustic Guitar, as well as Electric and Classical. Learning materials provided, as well as the opportunity for club members to ask questions and suggest content directions.
Lessons & Materials will be archived so Club members can refrence them at any time.
